Poplar Street Historic Homes

705 Poplar

This house was built in the early 1900s by Thomas Warren Trout, who was a farmer and landowner.  He was also engaged in the grocery business.

Mr. Trout sold the house after the death of his wife.  Mr. Walter Denixon it for a short period, selling it to the Fielding family, who owned it for around fifty years.  It is currently owned by Mrs. and Mrs. Bob Lowrey.
